Euna Payette's Page
Most of the fish on this page are between 5 and 7 pounds. Euna's favorite technique is finesse fishing with light line and considers 12lb line heavy. She asked me not to divulge her baits or techniques but if you see her fishing she may give you a few tips. Her biggest fish that we weighed is a 9lb 2oz Largemouth caught on Lake Conroe TX March 28 1999. She caught it around midnight before a Castaway Rods Big Bass Tournament on 8lb line and a Beetle Spin. If she had entered the tournament and caught it 6 hours later she would have won the new truck or boat. The fish was photographed, released and we had a replica made which is up on our wall in Conroe.
